The State I Am In (2000)

A boy and a girl kiss passionately.

A girl overhears her parents having sex twice. The first time, she crudely remarks about it and the second time she discusses it with her father.

A girl takes off her t-shirt and gets into bed with a boy. He also takes his shirt off (parts of his bare chest are visible), and they both take off their pants under the sheets (no nudity). It is implied that they had sex. The boy is seen wearing only boxer shorts afterwards.

The main characters are pursued by the police all throughout the film.

A man hides a gun in his apartment. Later, his apartment is plundered and a policeman notices him retrieving the gun.

A man threatens a thief with a crowbar. The thief's accomplice hits the man in the back. A girl attacks the accomplice, but the thief also hits her in the back and she falls to the ground.

A group of policemen chase after illegal immigrants. Not violent.

SWAT officers push a young woman to the ground and arrest her. Another officer points his gun at a man and orders him to fall to the ground.

A woman slaps a girl in the face.

A boy hits a girl hard in the face.

It is implied (and then confirmed) that a man and a woman robbed a bank. The man is wounded in the process and a later scene shows the woman cutting his clothes open to reveal a bloody bullet wound in his back. She pours disinfectant on the wound and the man screams in pain. Not too graphic.

Black-and-white security camera footage shows a woman shooting a man. The woman tells a girl she killed the man.

Neither strong nor frequent.

Adults are shown smoking. A teenage girl smokes secretly throughout the film. A character calls himself a drunkard, but he is never actually shown drinking.
