Killer Instinct (2001)

Dee Wallace Stone plays an investigative journalist who is working to expose a series of dirty secrets within a small town. Years before a mental patient escaped from a asylum and killed some people. The townspeople got together and took justice into their own hands. In the present, 8 teenagers who are part of a dare club and close friends, decide to spend the night in the closed down, but furnished asylum home and have a scavenger hunt. The teens are unaware that a mysterious killer lurks inside the home with them.
