Adiyozhukkukal (1984)

Karunan (Mammootty) is an orphaned son of a prostitute, broods through life sporadically in and out of trouble. Upon release from jail, he finds that his best friend has usurped his business and married his fiancee. Karunan turns to drinking heavily and smuggling for a living, but finds friends and solage in unemployed graduate Gopi (Mohanlal) and a young girl he rescues, Devyani (Seema).
