Impasse (1946)

Gabriel Marceroux, a young student and occasional cab driver, manages to break out of prison Gisèle Dubois, a manicurist convicted of a crime she didn't commit. This in turn earns her three months in prison. After serving his sentence, he is unable to continue his studies. The young man then unwillingly collaborates with a gang of crooks. Fortunately, Gisèle manages to sever Gabriel's ties with the gang.
