The Ceremony (1977)

1970s Ithaca, Greece. Craving sexual maturity, young virgin Electra feels the tormenting need to break free from societal norms and what her old-fashioned community forbids. In the meantime, her fisherman brother Aris and his best friend Stefanos dream of making a quick buck and a fresh start in Athens without breaking a sweat. And then, opportunity knocks: wealthy seductress Maria arrives in the island, having a mutually beneficial proposal for the two friends. Now, the stage seems set for the ultimate heist.
