Shows the opening and closing ceremonies of the competition, the political and commercial interests at stake. Interviews Rodolfo Galimberti, leader of the left-wing Montoneros organization, which explains the reasons for his group's truce with the Argentine military. It records the most important moments of the matches and the comic and dramatic events on and off the field, as well as including several anthological throws from previous cups. The documentary also proves a series of measures taken by the Argentine sporting directors, with the objective of harming the performance of the Brazilian team, including the replacement of stretches of Mar del Plata Stadium with a synthetic similar.
