Kalidas (1931)

The Maharaja of Thejavathi has a snobbish daughter, Vidhyakumari, of marriageable age. One of his court ministers' would like her to be his daughter-in-law, but she refuses, and her wrath knows no end when she is tricked into marrying a lowly, naive, and illiterate youth. How will she adjust to life and continue being a Rajkumari constitutes the rest of the story.
