Stamatis Kokoras, Fakir (1969)

Wandering the busy streets of Athens trying to sell shoddy goods, Stamatis Kokoras--an impecunious pedlar, unskilled street performer, and failed fakir--ends up in a lavish mansion while fleeing his angry, unappreciative audience. Then, as one thing leads to another, clumsy Stamatis manages to land a job as a valet, attending to his new boss Petros' specific needs. However, Petros has skeletons in his closet, and as if that weren't enough, his uncle from America has decided to spend a few days in the villa to check in on him. Now, it is up to Stamatis to make things right again and help Petros clear up a misunderstanding with his beautiful fiancée. But is Stamatis up to the task?
