Vengeance (1998)

What is the nature of celebrity and of notoriety? An incident in Queensland's Wallum National Park, when a goanna bites off the finger of a toddler, becomes a national and then an international incident once the media get a hold of the story - more fiercely than the goanna got a hold of little Georgia McMurty's finger. Distortion leads to vengeance and murder - as well as to an Academy Award for little Georgia.
