Earth and Blood (1967)

Somewhere in a small village of mountainous, early-twentieth-century Greece, the impoverished, hard-working shepherds find themselves under the ruthless local landowner's thumb. Under those volatile circumstances, as the unscrupulous proprietor robs the inhabitants of their happiness, a rebellious young herder dares to fall in love with the graceful daughter of the oppressive ruler. Before long, the two men lock horns, and disaster is at hand. Do earth and blood mix?
