Louisa, the beautiful, pampered daughter of the self-made industrialist Kleon Karamouzis, has a chance encounter with Alekos, a charming struggling artist, at a masked ball. As one thing leads to another, Louisa falls head-over-heels in love with Alekos, unbeknownst to her that her strict father will never give his consent to this relationship.
