Who Will Pay for the Marble? (1956)

In high hopes of creating a better future for himself, the countryman with a heart of gold, Thimios, leaves his small village and arrives in Athens. As Thimios tries to get back on track and find his feet in the bustling capital, he keeps getting himself in trouble. Then, a chance encounter with a seductive and scheming femme fatale can only mean more problems. Now, who is going to pay for the "marble"?
