Marina, a vibrant singer, stands trial for a hideous crime. But the young artist swears she is innocent. When Marina met Andreas, things were fine; everything went downhill when the devoted mariner had to deal with the fierce disapproval of his mother and uncle. And then, with Andreas away in New York for work, prejudice and hostility pushed Marina to her limits. As she fought for her child's happiness and future, Marina made a heart-wrenching decision. Of course, Andreas never found out about Marina's hardships. With darkness surrounding her, Andreas would be shocked if he discovered that his family had been tormenting Marina in his absence. Now, the question remains: What was Marina's crime in the first place? What if Andreas discovered the truth?
