Red Roses (1955)

Head-over-heels in love with handsome Takis, a dark-eyed student at the Athens Conservatoire, the romantic university student, Avgi Molfetta, is starting to plan for the future. Then, Avgi's old-fashioned uncle, a man of strict principles, discovers her niece's clandestine affair, and without delay, he writes to her father, asking him to take action. As a result, Avgi returns to Argostoli, unbeknownst to her that her father has already arranged to marry her off to a wealthy local young man. But Avgi is in love, and she won't abandon Takis. Will things work out for the young lovers?
