Barbara Page, a chorus girl who yearns for a domestic life, is proposed to by Lyn Holmes, her theatrical agent, but instead she accepts Dick Cobb, a bank clerk. Her dreams are realized by their little flat, though Dick soon begins to insist on attending wild parties, to which she reluctantly agrees. Dick's fellow clerk, Warren Townsend, whose advances have been repelled by Barbara, advises Dick to "borrow" from the bank when he is short, then notifies the bank president. Dick escapes, and Townsend, pretending sympathy, offers to help if Barbara will yield to his demands, then Holmes offers Barbara a new chance in a comedy role. Later she scorns Holmes's suggestion that she sue for divorce and marry him, and the agent reunites the repentant husband with his wife.
