To celebrate her engagement, Marianna--the rich daughter of the factory owner, Gerasimos Karras--hires the successful popular singer, Dimitris. However, much to their surprise, an almost irresistible attraction between them will lead to marriage against the will of Marianna's father. In the end, is Dimitris the good and honest man everybody says? Will money corrupt him, too?
