No Babies Wanted (1926)

Michael O'Day and his 8-year-old granddaughter, Patsy, adopt a deserted baby, who is left in the little girl's care when the old man is injured and sent to the hospital. The girl attempts to keep the baby out of the hands of a hard-boiled landlady and the orphanage.
