No Sympathy for the Devil (1997)

Set against the backdrop of dystopian Athens' seedy underbelly, Orpheus, a supermarket cashier, has a chance encounter with mysterious Eurydice, a young, fresh-out-of-prison waitress. And just like that, Orpheus falls desperately in love with the unknown soulmate with the big, doleful eyes. But fate has other plans in store for the star-crossed lovers. As Orpheus embarks on a challenging, peril-laden mission to retrieve what was stolen from him, nothing can stand in his way, not even death or Hell itself.
