Central Station (1998)

Directed by Walter Salles, Fernanda Montenegro plays Dora, a retired teacher who writes and sends letters in a central station in Rio de Janeiro. Josué, a 9-year-old boy, searches for his absent father after the death of his mother, who sent him letters through Dora. Together, they embark on a journey through Brazil, from the train station to the highlands, on an emotional journey in search of answers.
