Struggling to make ends meet and support his weary mother and his slacker younger sister, Stefanos--an honest but poor young man--finally finds a job as a railroad worker, with the help of his friend, Lefteris Markou. But, before long, Stefanos will fall madly in love with his co-worker's sister, Stella, unbeknownst to him that his boss' daughter, Rena, has set her sights on him, envious of their true feelings. Now, the pampered and spoiled young woman will do everything in her power to win Stefanos, her precious prize, even if it means she will have to lie.
