Hopelessly devoted to honesty, the indefatigable toiler, Thanasis, finds it extremely difficult to keep a job for more than a couple of days. Taking pride in his integrity, poor Thanasis is perpetually unemployed--but, in the meantime--he finds the courage to dream big, and even allow himself to fall desperately in love with his next-door-neighbour and the block's sad belle, Anthoula. Do dreams ever come true?
