A free woman, a multi-talented artist, Tunisian singer Habiba M'sika was one of the most brilliant stars of her time. The film evokes the last three years of his life, from 1927, punctuated by the upheavals of a society in full mutation and branded with love by Mimouni, a rich landowner and Chedly a young poet . During a triumphal tour in Berlin, she meets the star of the oriental music, the Iraqi Baghdadi, then learns about Parisian life with a dandy with a troubled charm. Back in Tunis, the artist is swept away by the frantic tourbillon of success, until the tragedy of his assassination by his lover.
