The Virgin (1966)

Bent on winning the heart of Michalios, a guileless, virginal young man and the village's most handsome lad, the beautiful, love-smitten shepherdess, Marianna, enlists the help of the local witch. Marianna, knowing that Michalios' strict mother, Froso, is against this relationship, uses every trick in the book to entice Michalios; however, in vain. But, Froso, too, who is already aware of seductive Marianna's intentions, is willing to go to great lengths to avert this marriage, refusing to take this situation lying down. Will Froso ever give her consent?
