Talkie of Talkies (1937)

A film derived from a play about life imitating art. Prof. Digambar Majumdar's (Bhaduri) sister Shanta defies her brother's wishes and marries Biren, whom she nursed to health after knocking him down in her car. Shanta and Biren join the stage, to the consternation of her brother, and come to a tragic end when it is revealed that Biren already has a wife and son.
