Il giorno di San Sebastiano (1993)

Based on historical events from the late 19th century in Sicily. Oppressed peasants demonstrate against brutal landlords. A platoon of soldiers open fire at the crowd, killing 13 people and setting off waves of riots throughout Sicily.
