Crazed Fruit (1956)

Adapted from Shintaro Ishihara's controversial and canonical novel, this portrait of the post-war sexual revolution presents the story of two brothers who fall in love with the same woman sparking friction between them. This depiction of a privileged and lustful Japanese youth can be considered the foundation of the Sun Tribe genre; a call for anarchy against tradition.
