The Chosen (1998)

The Chosen is a fanatical religious sect held firmly under the spell of a charismatic leader. Opposition is silenced in weird and sometimes bloody ways. It seems as if the whole town has fallen under a curse. This is a gripping thriller, the story of a typical rural town under threat from a force more insidious and vindictive than anyone can imagine.
