The Haunting (1999)

A gothic mansion more than 130 years old is surrounded by legends about tragic deaths that have occurred there. Dr. David Marlow gathers three people to conduct a study on the relationship between insomnia and fear, and they all go to the uninhabited house to carry it out. Based on a novel by Shirley Jackson, the film combines horror and fantasy, tells a gripping story, visually stunning and with a cast that makes it even more appealing to watch.
