The Three Buckaroos (1922)

Dartigan, an adventure-seeking Nebraskan with a broken-down horse, seeks the famous Three Buckaroos and receives their challenges to three individual pistol duels when he stumbles onto them. En route to these appointments he meets and falls in love with Constance Kingsley, and he valiantly assists the Buckaroos in repulsing an attack by cattle rustlers at the rendezvous. Thus, Dartigan is allowed to take the oath of The Three Buckaroos, which forbids him to declare his love to Constance. Led by Dartigan, the Buckaroos engage in many valorous exploits and finally round up the rustlers--freeing Dartigan to tell Constance what she has been waiting to hear.
