Despite the X-rating, the film has surprisingly tame sexual content. It has two sex scenes, none of which are graphic. One scene shows a man and a woman having sex in bed, with the camera quickly cutting and focusing on the woman's breasts for split seconds (this scene features one of the rarest nude scenes of Linda Marsh). After the man finishes, the woman gets up and gets dressed. Her breasts are shown.
The second sex scene is between two men (the most likely reason for the X-rating as homosexuality was still seen as taboo in Hollywood in the early 1970s). The men can be seen caressing and kissing one another. No genital nudity or explicit sex acts are shown.
However, as the film was claimed to be heavily re-edited without the director's involvement, it is most likely that the sex scenes were altered in favor of an R-rating.
