Tsygan (1967)

Klavdia Pukhlyakova, the mother of a baby girl, finds a boy near a gypsy-cab crushed by German tanks and adopts him. 17 years pass. The happiness of a mother who does not know about the true parents of her son is overshadowed by fear. Suddenly, the gypsy Budulai appears in the village and very quickly wins the sympathy of the young man.
