Lisa and Jamie, residents of the Alton House Children's Home, learn that the home is to close because of government cuts. They decide to run away to the seaside. There they meet up with Mr. Skeeter, an elderly eccentric, who brings them food. Jamie is convinced that Mister Skeeter is a millionaire in disguise and the their troubles are over.
