The Clever Ones and the Suckers (1962)

Handsome but poor Alkis has a chance encounter with Lela, the lovely daughter of the successful industrialist Ioannidis, and just like that, without knowing who she is, falls head-over-heels in love with her. Now, with his heart skipping a beat, Alkis is determined to convince unattainable Lela of his honest and profound feelings for her; however, in vain. In the meantime, Alkis' barber, Christos, has an entirely different approach on the matters of the heart: he poses as a movie producer scouting for young talents to hook up with beautiful, aspiring actresses. But his method is not infallible. Can Pelopidas, the neighbourhood's butcher, help Alkis woo the woman of his dreams?
