Pecado na Sacristia (1975)

Man who cuts sugar-cane kills his unfaithful wife and runs away. He meets a strange figure who introduces himself as a lost soul, daring him to do some missions along the way. One of these missions is finding a treasure and give half of it to the Church. He also has to fight against some Brazilian folkloric entities, such as the Mule-Without-a-Head, the Mother-of-the-Waters and other menacing creatures.
