Karagiozis, o adikimenos tis zois (1959)

Peter Papas returns to Greece for holidays with his wife and gets into a car accident with a cab driver only to realize that the cab driver is his childhood friend Meletis. Meletis is now married with 6 kids. 25 years ago they were both assistants to a street shadow theater player, Stamati Trano. Peter and Meletis search for Stamatis in reminiscence of the past. Only to find that Stamatis' is in a poor state since his art was in decline due to the cinema and his wife left him for a younger man taking along their only daughter. Peter and Meletis then decide to try to help Stamatis reunite with his daughter.
