Every two years a large number of British show-business celebrities in conjunction with the BBC donate their time and energy to raise money for charity under the umbrella of "Comic Relief". To aid the charity a large number of events, on TV and elsewhere, are organised culminating in the infamous comedy extravaganza, "Red Nose Day". In this series of six programmes Zoë Ball introduces various classic comedy clips from the BBC archives and invites viewers to vote by telephone for their favourite with the proceeds going to charity.
