The Night of the Pencils (1986)

A re-creation of a disturbing historical event during Argentina's last dictatorship, in which seven students, advocating for the reduction of bus fares, are kidnapped and only one survives to reveal the horrors. In a moving narrative, the young people become tragic symbols of government-sponsored disappearances, where resistance and the pursuit of justice are highlighted in the face of oppression in a chilling vision of the harsh realities of that tumultuous era.
