The One and Only Life I Have (1992)

Woo-yeob has a crush on his next door neighbor Yoo-na. She is aware of this and decides to connect with him for a summer of bliss. But all to soon he leaves to study abroad, Yoo-na undertakes the arranged marriage set up by her parents. Woo-yeob lives the high life, but misses the woman he loves. He contracts an incurable disease and returns to Yoo-na, who can't stay away. A new path of sacrifice and compassion opens up for them.
