Under the Tuscan Sun (2003)

Diane Lane steals the show in this film as Frances Mayes, a recently divorced American writer with a creative block. Her best friend, Patti, gives her the gift of a stay in Italy, more precisely in Tuscany, and once there, Frances impulsively decides to buy a villa from an old Italian woman. However, the house needs a lot of renovations and that absorbs Frances' life, who makes new friends and learns a little about Italian culture.
