Tracy, a teenager with a troubled family life, becomes fascinated by Evie, a girl from her school whom she befriends. Her influence causes Tracy to experiment with drugs, spiralling out of control. Meanwhile, Tracy's mother, Melanie, tries to understand her daughter's radical transformation. A disturbing story, co-written by one of its protagonists, Nikki Reed, at 14. The performances of Evan Rachel Wood and Holly Hunter as mother and daughter were highly acclaimed.
