In the midst of the winter in Mar del Plata, the landscape does not offer much more than windy beaches and deserted inns. Filmmaker Facundo is doing nothing in Buenos Aires, so he decides to go to the coast looking for a "nothing" a little more overwhelming. A sentimental failure prompts him to move, but his meeting with Dolores, a waitress and gym teacher, stops him. Facundo becomes obsessed with her and stays in Mar del Plata longer than planned. In his strategy of seduction, which includes promises of stardom and love, he overlooks a small detail: Facundo's object of affection already has an owner: Marcos, a surfer who loves to contemplate the waves and who already has plans of marriage in mind. With all this happening, Facundo allows himself to be involved in Dolores's hysteria while he helps, almost unintentionally, with the sexual awakening of his little sister Mariana, who will ultimately become the true protagonist in this story.
