Ruy Blas (2002)

The scene is Madrid , the time 1699, during the reign of Charles II. The former interior minister intends to take revenge on the Spanish Queen for his resignation. To do this, he disguises his servant Blas in a noble nobleman and introduces him to high society. Very soon, the clever and generous Blas wins the queen's favor with his actions and speeches, and he falls madly in love with her.
