Margaritka (1961)

The school year Margaritka is ill. Her Daddy is the writer and her Mummy is an actress, rehearses her lines for a new premiere. She has an affair with the production's director. At Mummy's premier, Daddy sees her and the director kiss. Daddy and Margaritka walk out without waiting for Mummy. Back home, the row is inevitable, but it still does not settle anything. Mummy goes on a tour, and Margaritka and Daddy leave for countryside. There she makes friends with the village children and forgets about her incessant coughs and sneezes. Soon she starts missing Mummy and asks Daddy to call her. He writes a telegram but does not post it. The child finds the crumbled piece of paper and goes to post office. Mummy arrives and the three of them are reunited.
