Memories of Murder (2003)

Based on Kim Kwang-rim's play and inspired by real events, Bong Joon-ho's film follows Park Doo-man and Cho Yong-koo, two detectives in a South Korean province in 1986 investigating a series of brutal rapes and murders. They are joined by Seo Tae-yoon, a detective from Seoul, and although tensions arise within the team, together they will try to uncover who is responsible.
