Raja Harishchandra is a great king of Ayodhya. He is a staunch follower of Satya Dharma. He adheres to the path of truth no matter what. His strength to abide by truth is tested by the great Rishi Vishwamitra. He is destined to lose everything, including his kingdom, wife, child--even his independence.
