La vierge folle (1978)

In the grand salon of the Duke and Duchess of Charance, Abbé Roux waits, worried. Indeed, the anguished call from his friends had him fearing the worst. Soon, joined by the duke, he becomes aware of the misfortune that has befallen them. A distraught Monsieur de Charance announces that he and his wife have discovered that their 18-year-old daughter, Diane, has become the mistress of a married man during a stay in Dinard. Worse still, the lover, Mr. Amaury, a famous lawyer, is one of their close friends. On the advice of Abbé Roux, they decide to send the young girl to a convent.
