Urubucamelô (2002)

A hawker earns his living by selling plastic puppets depicting American superheroes downtown in Rio de Janeiro. Exhausted, penniless and in starvation, he wanders the desert and dirty streets until he arrives at the city's refuse deposit, meeting vultures and herons. After eating something rotten, he suffers a transformation into a peculiar superhero: a man with elements of a vulture, capable of flying.
