This dramatic comedy follows the life of Ariel, a young Jewish boy who works with his mother in a haberdashery inside a commercial gallery in Buenos Aires. Ariel dreams of emigrating to Europe and begins the process of obtaining his Polish passport. However, his plan changes when he discovers that his father, who abandoned them for an ideal, has returned to the country. Amidst the chaos of the neighborhood, Daniel Burman explores the complex dynamics of the Jewish community in Argentina.
