At the end of the Choseon Dynasty, many cults appeared. One such cult in the Gyeryong Mountains told its believers that they must endure the suffering of this world to find happiness in the next. Using this excuse, the cult leaders take all the land an money belonging to their followers. One man sees the light and sets about avenging himself on the cult.
