Romantichna istoriya (1985)

The love story between Jana and Ivan, two young people from the suburbs of Sofia, begins on the disco dance floor. She claims she loves him, but she also dreams of a rich life which Ivan is unable to provide for her at that point in his life. She seeks the attention of other men who can provide that for her, even though she claims she loves Ivan. To win her over, he pulls some strings to become a bartender at a seaside resort. 10 years later, he returns to Sofia with a suitcase of money and looks for Jana. It turns out this is not a sufficient condition for the happiness of these two fiery natures. The couple lives on the brink of hysterical passion and separation. Some trials and tribulations later, an unexpected turn in the relationship follows.
